First Moments - my first try

Der Text.

Verse
I was there at your first breath
Air filled those small lungs
Life truly began with you
Nothing would be stronger than us

Verse 2
Held you close warm so tight
Magic of the moment bright
Felt the truth in our bond
World stood still so beyond

Chorus
First step wobbled but bold
Unsteady legs finding hold
Outstretched arms I did wait
Pride and joy in your gait

Verse 3
I was there at your first word
Silence broke sweet unheard
Voice filled the room my heart
Every sound a brand new start

Bridge
Times change but memories stay
In my heart where they lay
Every first a precious scene
Life's chapters in between

Chorus
First step wobbled but bold
Unsteady legs finding hold
Outstretched arms I did wait
Pride and joy in your gait
